Data backups are essential no matter how resilient
your server may be. Logical data loss could occur as a result of
a mistake whilst administering a server or uploading changes to
a website.

or dedicated server package is space on our *offsite* NAS (Network Attached
Storage).
Whilst other companies charge (high) additional
costs for tape backups and rotations, or some try and make you purchase
an additional disk in your server for backups we give you this facility
for free!
All backups are done over a private network
connection ensuring data transfer is secure. Your space on the NAS
is protected via username and password. The NAS is in turn securely
locked away in a separate datacentre and the data is protected against loss via RAID-5 arrays.
10GB of space is included which is usually plenty
for a single day's worth of data backup. Customers who have large
storage requirements, or require a 7 day rotation of data backups
can purchase additional space on our NAS at the rate of £10.00
per month per 10GB.
It does not matter whether your server operating
system is Windows, Linux or Macintosh based as our NAS is compatible
with all the popular operating systems. Backup scripts are installed
onto dedicated servers as part of the build process.
